How Small-Group Language Courses Work
At Linguist Hub, small-group language courses are designed for adult beginners, continuing learners, and friends or community groups who want structured study with regular speaking practice. Each term course runs for 10 weeks with two lessons per week, and group sizes are capped at 4 to 8 participants.
Every learner starts with initial level screening before joining a suitable group and timetable. This helps match the course to the learner's starting point, practical goals, and availability, so the first lessons have a clear direction.
A focused format with room to speak, practise, and ask questions.
Small groups make it easier to follow the lesson, get feedback, and stay involved from the first session.
Our course options include beginner and elementary levels, conversation workshops, intensive study, and private group courses. We also provide a written learning plan and periodic progress summaries, so learners can see what has been covered and what to practise next.
Lessons are available in Umm Salal and online. Progress depends on the learner's starting level, attendance, independent practice, learning needs, and the length of the course. Placement and progress review are internal learning steps, not official certification.
